Namdev is a waiter at a restaurant and when he wins a lottery, he shares the winnings with his best friends Raghuvir, Damodar and Jaggi. Greed creates bitterness and Jaggi gets killed. Namdev goes to jail. After serving his sentence Namdev come back only to discover that his two friends have become rich while his family is living in penury. Namdev also discovers that Jaggi was actually killed by his friends and he had been falsely accused. With his grown up son Ravi, he sets off to avenge his lost years and recover his good name.
