Sonu Sood is an actor who has acted in Hindi,Punjabi (1 film) Telugu, and Tamil films.
Sood hails from a Punjabi family. He was born in Moga, Punjab. His father is a businessman and his mother is a professor of English and History. He has two sisters. He did his schooling in Punjab and later moved to Nagpur and successfully completed a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering. In his final year of studying engineering at Nagpur, Sood participated in the Grasim Mr. India contest, and made it to the top five.
He is happily married to a lady by the name of Sonali, and they have a son named Ishan.
