Mika Singh

Singer Mika, born as Amrik Singh is currently ruling the bhangra/rap genre. He is the younger brother of famous Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi. Mika is the youngest of the six Mehndi brothers. He left school at the age of eight and began to focus on singing, he says. His career evolved from kirtan singer to bhangra/pop artist. He gained much media attention for his kiss with Rakhi Sawant in June 2006.

Mika is also known for his large audiences at shows, sometimes as large as 60,000 people. He is one of most talented Punjabi singer who has marked his talent in Hindi playback singing also. Recently he has signed a film as an actor with Sunil Shetty s production house for a film named Loot. He has also composed and sung the famous song Ganpat from the film Shootout at Lokhandwala.
