The Nebraska native headed out to California after completing his MA in Journalism from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He enjoyed a successful career as a marketing executive In the high tech market prior to focusing his full efforts on the entertainment industry. In 2006, he was picked as one of the original improv members for the highly successful urban comedy show, Trippin' on Tuesdays at The Comedy Store in Hollywood and made his television debut with the legendary Dick Van Dyke in Hallmark's Murder 101.Kirk's major motion picture debut will be White Lightnin' which was directed by Dominic Murphy and shot in Croatia. The film based loosely based on West Virginia mountain dancer, Jessco White, was funded by the United Kingdom Film Council which also financed The Last Kings of Scotland.
