Brinda, the ace Choreographer of Indian film Industry hails from a family of dance masters. She learnt Bharatanatyam under her uncle Raghuram Master when she was in Standard Ten. He is a popular dance master in the film field. One day her sister Kala, also a popular dance master, was to assist him at a shoot. But she couldn’t turn up as she was ill. That was when Girija, another sister and her uncle’s wife, asked her to assist him. Before attaining the name of a popular dance master she won acclaim for her role of a gangly student in the Tamil film Nammavar where co starred .After some years, she started working on her own. Nandavana Theru, directed by R. V. Udhayakumar, was the first film for which she worked as a solo dance master. Then she did director Sunder. C’s directorial venture Ullathai Allitha where she choreographed the popular song ‘Azhagiya Laila’ and two more numbers in the same film. More than 17 years in the field, she makes the top stars dance to her tunes elegantly. She got married to Malayalam actor’s actress wife Parvathy’s nephew Susi Parameswaran.
