Maximino Arciniega was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Columbia College Chicago where he received his B.A in Theatre. Out of hundreds of actors he was selected for the ABC/SAG Diversity Showcase in Chicago, the CBS/SAG/Nosotros Latino Diversity Showcase in Los Angeles and the first annual CSA/Chicago showcase in Los Angeles. He was seen on the main-stage at The Goodman Theatre in Chicago in Luis Alfaro's "Electricidad" playing the role of "Orestes". He is an ensemble member of Chicago's "Teatro Vista". Maximino Arciniega (MaxSoul) is also a Hip-Hop artist and poet who writes, records and performs. He was selected to open for Russel Simmons and The Def Poets (Def Poetry Jam/HBO) after taking first place in a poetry slam contest. Max returns to the stage playing the role of "Alvaro" in "Lydia" at the Mark Taper Forum from April 15th 2009 through May 17th 2009.
