Amar Mohile

Born on 9th june 1975, Mumbai, India, Amar comes from a musically affluent family. At a very young age he formally set into the world of music. He learnt piano from Robert Correa. By the time he turned 13 he was already accompanying his father Anil Mohile, a well known music director, arranger, and a musician himself, to recordings.Simultaneously, he embarked onto a series of projects as a keyboard player, programmer and arranger for acclaimed bollywood music directors. Ram Gopal Varma’s ROAD in 2002 beckoned him into background score composition. The same year also marked his foray into music composition. Amar set up his own studio in suburban Mumbai in the year 2005 designed by renowned sound architect Roger Darcy, London. He focuses on belting out new sounds and likes to experiment with his work.
